Stick a runcible spoon in me… I’m done

April 23, 2007 at 10:53 pm (Prose, The Wayfarer)

This is the wrap up of the novel–hammered out by dozens of monkeys not necessarily typing anything coherent for the last two and a half hours. Ok, so not all of this was written that recently; I actually did do some work during the week. Regardless, here it is, the finale.

Almost there…

April 22, 2007 at 9:50 pm (Prose, The Wayfarer)

The rough draft of my novel is nearing completion. I’m not sure if it’ll see full revision or not, but I’m glad to finally be getting to some closure.

Personal Poetry Project Continued…

April 17, 2007 at 10:22 am (Ars Eschatologica, Poetry)

Here’s a bit more of my personal poetry project. This is actually one of my favorite parts that I’ve written. There’s some language though, or rather one word of language, but it’s one not for the kiddies.
This project has been a nice reprieve from my novel. Not that I’m not still writing it as well (I just put up a 3 chapter post), but it’s a change of pace, and it gives me a project to switch hit to when my writing on the other gets dry and vice versa.

It’s All Winding Down–3 Chapters towards the Wayfarer

April 17, 2007 at 10:11 am (Prose, The Wayfarer)

So the story’s winding down and wrapping up–actually I would argue this is one of the more interesting sections thus far. There may be three chapters here, but relatively speaking, they’re short. Enjoy!

Pondering and pandering to the masses!

April 11, 2007 at 3:45 pm (Ars Eschatologica, Poetry)

This is a small excerpt from my 8+ page personal poetry project. I don’t intend to put the whole thing up, but I thought I might throw up some bits and pieces now and then.
This comes from right near the beginning:

God stood up and pushed in His desk chair.
He took His reading glasses off and set them next to His infinite galaxies,
rubbing the corners of His eyes.
“I’M CREATIVELY BANKRUPT,” He muttered. “LIKE A SCUTTLEFISH SCUTTLING, OR A
PLATYPUS PLATTLING.” He shot a wink at all of creation.
And then He stepped out for some air.

April 9, 2007 at 4:28 pm (Prose, The Wayfarer)

There’s some language in these chapters, so be wary you easily offended people.

Something that crossed my mind…

April 8, 2007 at 7:50 pm (Poetry)

Just a little idea that I wanted to put down. Maybe I’ll refine it later into more of a working poem than a pleasant thought with line breaks, but who knows.
